Scholarship Education Empowerment Discipleship (SEED) School
Providence St. John Baptist Church SEED School aims to empower saints for victorious living through clearly teaching God's Word.

PURPOSE
The purpose of SEED School is to equip the student Christian with essential tools for discipleship. Students are provided an atmosphere conducive for continued spiritual development and maturity. SEED School prepares willing disciples to function effectively in ministry toward the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
MISSION STATEMENT
To Edify the Saved by empowering saints for victorious living through clearly teaching God’s word; and by providing training that promotes excellence among the ministries of PSJBC. To Evangelize the Sinner through educational initiatives that reaches out to the community.
ADMISSION
SEED School operates under an open admission policy. Interested students must complete a registration form for each semester of enrollment. Admission will be processed based upon class size availability.
FEES
There are no admission fees for SEED School enrollment. However, some classes require mandatory textbooks which must be purchased by the student. See course syllabus or instructors regarding textbook fees.

ATTENDANCE
Students are expected to attend all courses to which they are registered. Students are further expected to be punctual and fully engaged in the learning process. Students are allowed no more than two (2) unexcused absences. Excessive absences and tardiness may result in non-completion of the course and will have to be retaken. Students in violation of the above will not receive credit for the course until properly completed.

Upon successful completion of the above track, students will receive a certificate in recognition of the core track.
An elective consists of any course other than a core requirement. A certificate will be given for successful completion of every elective.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
CHR 101 – Christian Living 101
This course is designed to provide assurances in key areas of spiritual maturity for new and growing Christians. The new convert is exposed to life-changing principles as they grow in the understanding of their new relationship with Jesus Christ. Those with Christian experience are afforded continued spiritual growth and vital tools for discipleship.
CHR 102 – Christian Living 102
This course provides lessons on Christian living. The new convert is exposed to fundamental principles while those with Christian experience are provided continued spiritual growth. (Prerequisite CHR 101)
SPR 101 – Spiritual Gifts
Through this course, the student is introduced to the understanding of spiritual gifts as presented through the Bible. The student should be empowered to utilize the learned gift toward a Kingdom activity primarily within the function of the local church.
BIB 101 – Seven Steps to Bible Skill
This course explores necessary tools for effective Bible study.BIB 102 – Inductive Bible Study This course is a continuation of the skills learned in BIB 101. (Prerequisite BIB 101)
FIN 201 – Personal Finance This course provides essential tools for financial stewardship. Students will be empowered with tools for financial planning and building wealth. This course requires ten weeks of instruction.
